It is 2:00 p.m. at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, and it has stopped raining. Officials are currently circulating the track to evaluate its status. Weather radar seems to indicate that the rain may have ended for the day and that racing may soon be possible, if the track can be dried in time. However, there is a new cell of rain developing to the northwest of the track that could change everything. At 2:00, AMA Racing updated its Sunday rain plan to state that if Sunday’s races are canceled races will run on Monday. The original rain plan stated: “At this time the availability of Monday for on track activities is in question.” Stay tuned.
