FIM Latin American Superbike Champion and FMV Venezuelan Superbike Champion Robertino Pietri was 7th-fastest in Superstock qualifying Saturday afternoon with a lap at 1:53.344, riding a Roadracingworld.com Suzuki GSX-R1000 on Pirelli tires. He was 16th in Superbike qualifying on his Superstock bike with a lap at 1:52.180. Colombian Martin Cardenas finished fifth in the Formula Xtreme race Saturday, riding an M4 EMGO Suzuki GSX-R600 on Pirelli tires. Cardenas qualified 10th fastest for Sunday’s Supersport race with a lap at 1:55.172. Former (and two-time) FMV Venezuelan Superbike Champion Fernando Amantini finished 17th in the Formula Xtreme race Saturday, riding a Kawasaki ZX-6R on Dunlop tires. Amantini qualified 29th for Sunday’s Supersport race, with a lap at 1:58.597.
