Ducati Exercises Option To Keep Stoner In 2008

Ducati Corse has exercised its option with current MotoGP World Championship leader Casey Stoner to have the 21-year-old Australian ride its Marlboro-backed Desmosedici again in 2008, according to Dorna Sports. Stoner’s father and manager Colin Stoner has confirmed this to the media and has stated his son may sign a contract extension that will see him ride for Ducati through 2010.
