The 3rd round of the Stockton Mini Road Racing Club June 10 at the Stockton Motorplex went off under near-perfect weather conditions Sunday, with a competitive but light turnout of racers taking to the track for a day of thrills and spills. Hopper Racing’s Vision Hayes had a great day, taking the holeshot and leading in some races until the end and having to fight his way to the front in others. He was entered in six classes, two on his KX65 and four on his NSR50. After all was said and done he chalked up five first place finishes and a sixth place finish in the 80 GP race which was the result of poor starts and an increasing presence of some very fast 11-12-year-olds led by ex-dirt tracker Deion Campbell. Going by results, this was Vision’s best day to date. He finished first in Formula 50, Super 50, Junior Stars, Formula Extreme and NSR Cup.
