Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at KTM Festival 2007 The KTM Festival, being held at the Hungaroring from September 7-9, is one facet richer with the news that it will host an additional race in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies 2007 series. The 23 starters in this high class, next generation racing series on asphalt has already thrilled the crowd at the premiere in Jerez on the occasion of the Spanish MotoGP and at Mugello for the Italian GP. Thousands of fans, the international media and the entire GP pits community have been very impressed with the efforts and the skills of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup participants. In addition to the seven races in the series, in which the best young international racers are competing for entry into professional road racing on identical 125ccm KTM racing machines, the 13-17-year-old rookies will also be racing at the 7th KTM Festival. The riders will be able to show off their skills on the famous Grand Prix circuit situated close to Budapest. This is also a perfect opportunity for KTM aficionados from all over the world to cheer on the 22 boys and Lucy Gloeckner, the only girl in the field of racers from 10 different countries. A detailed look at the fascinating technology of the 45 hp Rookies Cup racing machines being used at the Hungaroring is also recommended. Spectators will certainly be surprised to witness the speed of the youngest KTM road racers participating in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup.
