BIRCHALL RACING 2007 PREVIEW Mansfield sidecar racing brothers Ben and Tom Birchall are eagerly awaiting the start of the new race season and have been busy preparing for their assault on both the World and British F1 Sidecar Championships. Racing starts on April 15 with the opening round of the new ACU/FSRA F1 championship at Snetterton, consisting of five rounds, taking in several of the major British circuits. Prior to the start of racing, the brothers will travel to Germany, where along with the rest of the World Championship teams, they will take part in a pre-season test on Friday April 6 at the Nurburgring. Their outfit has been given a make-over for 2007 with new livery. The Birchall team welcome their main sponsors Theakers recycling and Mitchells of Mansfield and they thank all of their sponsors for their continued support. Ben and Tom are anticipating a strong season in which they hope to be stepping onto the podium at the earliest opportunity. The Birchall brothers will be attending the annual Day of Champions at Donington Park on June 21, ahead of the British MotoGP, which runs from June 22-June 24. They will join forces with other sidecar racers to give taxi rides to the public around the circuit to raise funds for Riders for Health charity and these rides have always proved to be extremely popular over the years with many passengers booking in advance so as not to miss out on their trip of a lifetime!
