Team M4 EMGO Suzuki’s Geoff May broke the overall motorcycle lap record during a two-day private team test February 14-15 at JenningsGP, in Jennings, Florida. On the second day of the test, May turned a 1:14.51 on his Pirelli-shod 2007-model GSX-R1000 Superstock bike, beating the 1:14.81 recorded by Luca Scassa on a MV Agusta F4-1000R during testing last December. The new record time was confirmed by JenningsGP owner Borge Larsen. Weather for the test was dry but unseasonable cold, with high temperatures in the mid-40s F during the day.
