As of today’s date the Wegman Benefit Fund no longer exists. For us it is a bittersweet day. Bitter because this time in our lives is ending and it is sad to walk away from this organization. Sweet because it gives us time to devote to so many other things that were neglected due to the constant work involved in keeping this fund up and running. We put in a 20 year run helping seriously injured road racers across the country and have enjoyed the ability to do that through the generosity of all the contributors to the Fund. Without your donations and purchases of goods at auction, at tracks around the country or on line we could not have provided the services we did. Our final donations are on the way to Roadracing World Action Fund, Red Flag Fund and Motor Racing Outreach. These donations essentially closed our accounts. I hope all of you that were so generous to us will continue to support injured racers through the organizations above or any others that provide services to the road racing community. Thank you for your support over the years. We will continue to be at the tracks and supporting racers in other ways and hope to see all our friends enjoying this great sport.
