Part Two Of ‘World’s Fastest Motorcycle’ To Air December 10 On SPEED

“WORLD’S FASTEST MOTORCYCLE PART 1″ REACHES A LARGE AUDIENCE ON SPEED CHANNEL PART 2 TO AIR DECEMBER 10TH. The Part 1 of the WORLD’S FASTEST MOTORCYCLE broadcast of SPEED December 3 reached very high audience ratings. Part 2 will be broadcast Sunday December 10th 2006 at 3:00 PM eastern time and noon Pacific Time. Check your local cable or satellite provider for exact air time in your area. Show 2 picks up the action from the Denis Manning “7” liner’s first run with Chris Carr at the controls the pressure is on for the second run and the Mike Akatiff as well as Sam Wheeler. The 3 most technologically advanced and fastest streamliners in the world met for 5 days of head to head action at the Motorcycle Speed Trials by Bub. This high drama was captured for SPEED by the production team of IGNITION3 and Chet Burks Productions with a multiple cameras and 2 helicopters. SPEED’s Dave Despain is the on-camera talent and will also narrate the show. The project began 2 years ago when IGNITION3 began documenting the work of motorcycle streamliner owners, Denis Manning, Mike Akatiff and Sam Wheeler. The crew traveled to all the builder’s shops throughout 2005 and Bonneville and even followed the Akatiff team to Lake Gairdner in Australia in March 2006. IGNITION3 joined forces with Chet Burks Productions to produce the show for SPEED. “Show 1 was exciting, and the next show has even more action and drama. We were lucky to have such a great story and are happy we could bring the technology, talent, and great story telling into this production.” Said Dick Lague of IGNITION3. “We have been very excited about this project from the beginning. It is very satisfying to have this show realize a sizeable audience. We are grateful that SPEED shared our passion for this show.” Said Chet Burks of Chet Burks Productions. In addition to the SPEED TV show, a DVD and a book is planned. IGNITION3 is a California based motorsports production company whose partners, Dick Lague, Jeff Lague, and Jon Lague have been producing a significant body of motorsports work. Chet Burks Productions is based in Marietta, Georgia and has been a top full-service motorsports production company for over 25 years.
