Parts Unlimited by SBS Raises the Bar in Road Racing Brakes. A new standard in road racing stopping power is now available to the public from Parts Unlimited by SBS. The new Dual Sinter road race brake pad compound from Parts Unlimited by Scandinavian Brake Systems is the future of racing standards. The Dual Sinter pads offer a strong initial bite as well as an extended life compared to the competition and will be available for the latest sport bikes as well as aftermarket calipers. “As we make our full factory products available to everybody we are raising the bar in racing brakes,” says SBS Brand Manager, Chris Jensen. “Nowhere else can a privateer racer find pads this advanced. This technology is comparable to the Ohlins pressurized forks,” said Jensen. The Dual Sinter compound was developed in cooperation with teams worldwide including Alstare Corona Suzuki and Ten Kate Honda. During development of this new superior compound PU/SBS supported teams won World Superbike and Supersport races at Qatar, Monza and Phillip Island. In American road racing Parts Unlimited by SBS supports Erion Honda, M4 EMGO Suzuki, Stargel Castrol Yamaha, ARNCHU Racing, Lithium Motorsports, Garrett Carter and many others. The Dual Carbon compound will continue to be available to the public – after 8 World Titles – and both the Dual Sinter and Dual Carbon pads are backed strongly by American road racing contingency programs. The Dual Sinter brake pads can be ordered through any Parts Unlimited dealer. Non PU associates, please contact Lithium Motorsports on 712-546-7747 for Dual Sinter information.
