Former Road Racer Rolando Quintero Injured

Former AMA road racer Rolando Quintero was critically injured during a STTARS Supermoto race on The Horsethief Mile Course located at Willow Springs in Rosamond, California Sunday, November 19. According to eyewitnesses, Quintero crashed after he tangled with another rider during the Sportsman race. The crash left Quintero unconscious and he was airlifted to Providence Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills, California, where, despite efforts to relieve pressure on the brain caused by swelling, Quintero remains in coma on a respirator.
