Rich Oliver’s Mystery School announces its 2007 course dates along with details regarding their latest course for the State of California Peace Officers! The unique aspect of Rich Oliver’s Mystery School is that any type of rider and skill leveled individual can benefit from the courses offered. Rich Oliver’s Mystery School offers five different courses to address the specific needs of a wide variety of riders. Regardless of the type of motorcycling –, street or dirt, recreational or competitive –Rich Oliver’s Mystery School has a program to fit everyone’s needs. Each program is tailored to teach techniques and training methods that improve skills, whether in the dirt or on the pavement. Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) DirtBike School — for new riders This one-day course provides an appropriate facility and less intimidating environment for new riders to learn. Proper basic riding techniques are taught including brake, throttle and clutch use, gear shifting, how to maneuver on off-road terrain, and how to climb and traverse hills. * Sunday, January 21 * Sunday, February 11 * Sunday, March 25 * Saturday, May 5 * Saturday, June 16 * Sunday, July 1 * Sunday, August 5 Two-Day Fun Camp — for riders who want to improve their riding skills Our most popular course among street riders, this exciting two-day adventure improves balance, maneuverability and control. Key secrets and practices used to train including flat track riding and racing, motocross riding, nutrition and physical training are incorporated. * Saturday and Sunday, January 27 – 28 * Saturday and Sunday, February 24 – 25 * Saturday and Sunday, March 3 – 4 * Saturday and Sunday, March 31 – April 1 * Saturday and Sunday, April 7 – 8 * Saturday and Sunday, April 21 – 22 * Saturday and Sunday, May 12 – 13 * Saturday and Sunday, May 19 – 20 * Saturday and Sunday, June 9 – 10 * Saturday and Sunday, July 14 – 15 * Saturday and Sunday, July 28 – 29 Three-Day Advanced Fun Camp — for Two-Day Fun Camp graduates The next tier in training is the Three-Day Advanced Fun Camp and is for those who wish to add to the skills they learned in the Two-Day Fun Camp. Students are challenged to ride the Balance Track, the Woods Rally course, perform five lap time trials and participate in additional racing. Students must be graduates of the Two-Day Fun Camp to enroll. * Course dates available upon request Ultra Pro Camp — for serious riders who want to lower their lap times Professional and serious riders enjoy this high-intensity four-day training program. The Pro Camp incorporates the championship training techniques developed and employed by the sport’s top racers, and includes lots of flat track and motocross riding, nutritional analysis, personal training, and continuous tips to enhance the rider’s physical and strategic abilities both on and off the track. * Thursday – Sunday, February 1 – 4 * Thursday Sunday, October 25 28 * Thursday Sunday, December 6 – 9 POST Motorcycle Update — for Motor Officers This course, certified by the State of California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training, is designed to teach proper motorcycle riding and control techniques to motor officers. The curriculum enhances the officer’s ability to avoid accidents and injury and to gain a greater level of control in pursuit situations over all types of terrain. * Thursday and Friday, February 8 – 9 * Tuesday and Wednesday, March 27 – 28 * Tuesday and Wednesday, May 1 – 2 * Monday and Tuesday, June 4 – 5 * Wednesday and Thursday, August 1 – 2 Rich Oliver’s Mystery School is conducted throughout the year in a secluded 10-acre setting in Auberry, California. The facility is groomed and prepared purposely for the presentation and curriculums of the Mystery School programs. We feature a fleet of Yamaha motorcycles specifically tuned for our flat tracks, head-to-toe gear rental as well as discounts for enrolling with a friend or family member. Course enrollments are kept to a minimum to ensure each student receives a lot of riding time and personal instruction from sole-instructor, Rich Oliver.
