Barros To Ride Ducati Desmosedici GP7 With Pramac D’Antin For 2007 MotoGP Season

The Team PRAMAC D’ANTIN MOTOGP has reached an agreement with ALEX BARROS to take part in the 2007 MotoGP World Championship. Next season, when the 800cc bikes will take the place of the 990cc powered machines in the premier-class, the fast Brazilian rider will have at his disposal the new DUCATI DESMOSEDICI GP7 that already showed to have a good potential during the first tests. ALEX BARROS: “I’m very happy to come back and race in the premier-class with the Team PRAMAC D’ANTIN MOTOGP. The new DUCATI DESMOSEDICI GP7 800cc already seems a very good project. I’m really confident, I know the Team and I’m sure that we will make a good job together. I can’t wait to be back to compete for the first positions with a MotoGP bike”. LUIS D’ANTIN (Team Manager): “We’re very happy to welcome in our Team a rider with such a big valour as ALEX BARROS. His arrival makes us really confident for the next season. BARROS is a rider that has a big experience and I’m sure that he will give us a lot of good performances. The objective of the PRAMAC D’ANTIN MOTOGP will be to compete at high level during the whole season, constantly aiming for the podium”.
