Spyder Leatherworks Woman Of The Year Award Presented To Owner And CEO Of WERA

West Allis, WI – Following the GNF races last Sunday, WERA held its annual banquet to honor champions from the weekend. Spyder Leatherworks added an additional award to the festivities by honoring Evelyne Clarke, Owner and CEO of WERA with the Spyder Leatherworks Woman of the Year Award. Evelyne entered the sport in 1976 by working in registration, and later became a partnered owner of WERA, eventually buying out those partners, thus becoming owner of the very successful series. Her ability to work with industry leaders such as Suzuki and Michelin ensures that racers will have a place to compete for years to come. Congratulations to Evelyne for 30 years of commitment to our sport. Created in 2004, the award is meant to honor those women are dedicated motorcycle road racing, and have distinguished themselves through significant contributions to the sport.
