CMRA Wins AMA Sports Road Race Club Challenge With Five Wins Out Of Six Races At Mid-Ohio

The three-rider team representing Texas-based Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) won the AMA Sports Club Challenge with five wins out of six races at the Road Race Grand Championships at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, in Lexington, Ohio. CMRA was represented by Cory Burleson, Dustin Dominguez and Chase Vivion in the unique club competition, and each man won at least one race during the three-day event September 22-24. Burleson won the 750cc Superstock and 750cc Superbike races on his Pirelli-shod GSX-R750, 16-year-old Dominguez won the Lightweight Twins Superstock and Formula Lightweight sprints on his Michelin-equipped Suzuki SV650 and Vivion took a victory in 600cc Superstock on his Michelin-fitted Yamaha YZF-R6.
