CCS Florida Racer Arrested In Connection With Motorcycle Theft Ring

CCS Florida racer Edward Alvarado was arrested at his home in Hollywood, Florida in connection with a motorcycle theft ring that was smuggling bikes into Caribbean countries. Police said that Alvarado’s home doubled as a chop shop. Alvarado was arrested on August 12, and charged with dealing in stolen property and conspiracy to commit racketeering. Over a dozen engines, motorcycles, scooters, tools and grinders were recovered from his home, according to news reports.
