FG Sport is organising a charity auction in support of Onlus Work in Progress. The event will coincide with the 6th round race of the World Superbike Championship at Misano’s Santamonica circuit on the 23rd, 24th and 25th June. All Superbike teams and riders have accepted the invitation to take part and have already proved their generosity by supplying many items of memorabilia to be offered for sale. Onlus Work in Progress was established in 2005 by a group of Italian doctors in order to help construct maternity hospitals in rural areas in Gambia and Senegal. This worthy project needs and deserves the help of all of us. These hospitals are waiting to be equipped with solar panels to convert solar energy into electricity to power health care equipment of primary importance. The charity event will be spread over the entire racing weekend, with individual auctions held on: – Thursday 22nd June, during the Paddock Show – Saturday 24th June, after the Superpole press conference – Sunday 25th June, after the Race 2 press conference
