AHMRA Sound Of Thunder races at Daytona International Speedway will include a fleet of Buell XB-RR racebikes, ridden by Rico Penzkofer, Jeremy McWilliams, Steve Crevier, Mike Ciccotto and Dan Bilansky. Penzkofer became the first man to win on a Buell XB-RR during CCS racing over the weekend. McWilliams flew back to Europe to fulfill prior testing commitments, and planned to return late Monday for AHMRA and AMA races this week; until McWilliams returns to Daytona, Bilansky is riding McWilliams’ XB-RR. Bilanksy and Penzkofer will race with AHRMA on Monday, while McWilliams, Crevier, Ciccotto and Penzkofer are scheduled to race with AHRMA on Tuesday. On Wednesday, AMA Pro Racing starts running at the Speedway.
