JESSICA ZALUSKY BACK ON THE BIKE TO PARTICIPATE IN 2006 ERIC BOSTROM RACING 2 SAVE LIVES ENDURANCE EVENT Denver CO Jessica Zalusky, professional roadracer and Kawasaki Team Green Rider, will be participating in the Eric Bostrom Racing 2 Save Lives Third Annual Endurance Event. Zalusky is the lone female rider in the AMA Roadracing circuit and races along side with men in the Supersport and Formula Extreme classes. In 2002, she finished 9th in the overall standing for the Pro Thunder class and is raring to get back on two wheels again. After a crash at the AMA National at VIR in August 2005, Zalusky encountered a few complications with her shoulder. Following her surgery in October, her surgeon anticipated a full recovery indicating she will be able to hit the pavement come April, 2006. “R2SL will most likely be my first day back on a bike in nearly 8 months since the AMA at Virginia Intl Raceway,” said Zalusky. The 2006 event will be help at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. It will run 9am -6pm from April 13th to April 16th and will allow riders/racers from across the country to contribute to a great cause, while riding an AMA roadracing venue. “I’m looking to get back out, really hammering it on the track and getting back up to speed,” says Zalusky. “I am also looking forward to riding with everyone; R2SL will be great fun again and is a great way to stay involved with the community.” Racing 2 Save Lives is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children’s charities by raising awareness, involvement, and capital within the motorcycle racing community through donations, corporate sponsorship and fundraising events.
