Team Stargel Castrol To Compete In AMA Superbike and Formula Xtreme Team Stargel is proud to announce that it will compete in AMA Superbike and Formula Xtreme in 2006 with expanded support from Castrol. Castrol has been a sponsor of Team Stargel since the 2001 season, and during these five years have provided a substantial amount of technical assistance to the team. With a long history of involvement at the highest levels of motorcycle roadracing, Castrol contributes a wealth of experience and increased exposure for Team Stargel Castrol. 2005 team rider and 2003 AMA Horizon Award winner, Brian Stokes, will return with Team Stargel Castrol for the 2006 AMA season. Stokes will be riding an improved version of the Yamaha R1 Superbike that he finished as high as 12th with last season, while also developing the all new 2006 Yamaha R6 for the Formula Xtreme class. With a further refined Yamaha R1, an exciting new Yamaha R6, and a strong alliance with a prominent member of the motorsports community, Team Stargel Castrol is excited about the 2006 season.
