FIRST TEST FOR SCUDERIA SC AT VALENCIA (Valencia 2006 January 6) First test for the Scuderia SC Caracchi riders on the Spanish Ricardo Tormo circuit at Valencia looking to the 2006 World Championship which will start in Qatar next February 25. With a great crowd of gentleman riders on the track Roberto Rolfo, Josh Brookes and Luka Nedog got the first contact with their new bikes benefiting of a splendid, as well very cold, day. The new bikes and the heavy trafic didn’t allow great performances, however the three riders covered about thirty laps each, scoring as fastest lap 1’39″5 Roberto Rolfo on the 999RS, while on the 749R Brookes recorded 1’41″9 and Nedog 1’44″. Stefano Caracchi looks to be quite satisfied after this first day test: “This first contact has been positive for everyone, despite the track full of people the three riders have been able to make a good job both for setting the machines as well to team integration. I’ve been quite impressed for their very good working method, most of all of course Roby Rolfo thanks his large experience in the most prestigious World GP Teams. We hope that the good weather will go on and tomorrow, with a more free track, we could do a better work.”
