NASCAR And AMA Pro Racing Share One Problem: Driver/Rider No-Shows For Awards Banquet

AMA Pro Racing is not the only organization with the embarrassing problem of top riders/drivers failing to show up for the end-of-season awards banquet, disappointing sponsors and fans in attendance and watching banquet coverage on racing TV news shows. The top three riders in the 2005 AMA Superbike Championship–Mat Mladin, Ben Spies and Eric Bostrom–did not attend the AMA Pro Racing Awards Banquet in Las Vegas November 20th.
