Nicky Hayden To Appear On SPEED TV Next Week

Nicky Hayden is in the Garage! MotoGP star Nicky Hayden will be in Greg’s Garage on 2 Wheel Tuesday next week, Dec. 13. Nicky just finished up testing at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia and will stop by the garage while back in the United States for his holiday break. Nicky captured his very first MotoGP victory this past July during the US round of the MotoGP Championship. Nicky then battled for the top spot of the championship and finished 3rd at the end of the season with some of most exciting racing that MotoGP fans have seen in years. Greg White will spend much of the show talking with the Factory Repsol Honda rider about his break out season and maybe a little insight for 2006. Hayden’s Career Stats: 1998 – Hayden started his Professional A.M.A. Road Racing career at the age of 16 riding in both the 600 Supersport and 750 Supersport divisions, finishing fourth overall that year in both classes. 1999 – Hayden was signed to a full factory ride with American Honda and won 5 of the 12 races to capture the 600 Supersport Championship title. Also in 1999 Hayden won 7 out of 9 Formula Xtreme races with 2 DNF’s costing him the championship. 2000 – Hayden moved to the Superbike class and won 4 of the 12 races finishing 2nd in the championship just 5 points behind Mat Mladin. 2001 – Hayden won 4 of the 13 races in the Superbike class and finished 3rd in the championship. 2002 – Hayden won 9 of 16 races and clinched the Superbike Championship. 2003 – Hayden moved to the MotoGP World Championship to ride for the Repsol Honda Team. 2005 Hayden won his first career MotoGP victory at Laguna Seca Be sure to tune into 2 Wheel Tuesday at 8pm Eastern & 9pm Pacific SPEED Channel is the nation’s first and foremost cable network dedicated to motor sports and the passion for everything automotive.
