Late Monday, December 5 Roadracingworld.com’s general editorial e-mail box received the following e-mail: “Dear user of Roadracingworld.com, Your e-mail account will be disabled because of improper using in next three days, if you are still wishing to use it, please, resign your account information. Further details can be obtained from attached file. In order to read the attach you have to use the following password: Have a good day, The Roadracingworld.com team https://www.roadracingworld.com” This, as many Roadracingworld.com readers know, is clearly a “phishing” scam (an attempt to steal your personal information for fraudulent use), or worse, because Roadracingworld.com does not require any type of log-in information in order to gain access. The file attachments accompanying this e-mail most likely contain some sort of virus and/or spyware to infect your computer, damage it and/or steal additional sensitive personal information from you. Roadracingworld.com strongly recommends that if you receive this e-mail you should not open the attachments and immediately delete the e-mail from your e-mailbox.
