Michelin 2005 Racing An Exceptional Track Record (Paris – November 4, 2005) In 2005, Michelin made a clean sweep of the three most prestigious motorsports championships, securing world titles with its partners in Formula One, the World Rally Championship and the MotoGP World Championship. Michelin scored win-doubles with Fernando Alonso and Renault in F1 and with Sébastien Loeb and Citroën in WRC, clinching both the manufacturers’ and drivers’ titles. On top of that, Valentino Rossi and Yamaha claimed the premier-class MotoGP titles.
