Saturday, October 1, 2005 11:00 – Meet at PIR (Portland International Raceway) in the South, Outside pits, to line up for Parade Lap. 12:00 – Parade lap begins. Immediate family and closest friends will lead the laps. Bikes will begin, lined up 3 across, followed by cars, 2 across. Speed will not exceed approximately 30 mph. (note to riders: don’t forget how very slick the drag strip area is. even in the best conditions it is very slick.) Street/Dirt/Racing bikes are allowed, all safety rules apply (gear, helmet, etc.) There will be one complete lap, and on the 2nd lap, you will exit at the Turn 8 exit road. Proceed directly to the Expo Center, main entrance, Hall A. 2:00 – Life Celebration begins. Keith’s family would appreciate “finger food” treats for sharing at the Celebration. If you have any questions, please reply to this email, and I will obtain the answer. Janice Logan [email protected] Update from Janice Logan: At the family’s request, Tom Young is in charge of the Celebration of Life for Keith Pinkstaff, so this is sent at his behest: No outside food may be brought into the venue at the Portland Expo Center, so no “finger foods”. Light refreshments will be provided. Also, the location has been changed to Hall D; signs will be posted with the correction. Thank you for your consideration in these matters.
