The Sixth Annual All-Star Ride for Life, to benefit the Duke Children’s Hospital, is set to roll off on Saturday, September 10th in Raleigh NC. Join a who’s-who list of motorcycle All-Stars as they ride to raise money for the kids at Duke. The ride begins at Scooter’s Bar and Grill in Raleigh and visits some of the area’s best bike shops and restaurants, then follows a police escort to the Duke Children’s Hospital to meet some of the kids and their parents, followed by a huge after-party to celebrate the efforts of the day. All participants are eligible for great door prizes, including free motorcycle tires, free track day/school from Cornerspeed.net, and more! Last year’s honorary Grand Marshalls are set to return and continue the fun times enjoyed by all in ’04. Leading off the festivities will be five-time Daytona 200 winner and former World Superbike Champion Scott Russell. Also returning from last year’s ride will be factory Yamaha rider and former 600 Supersport Champion Jamie Hacking, and backing him up will be former 600 Supersport and Superbike Champion Jamie James. All three riders had such a great time last year that they couldn’t wait for this year’s ride. So come enjoy a day with your favorite All-Stars and raise some money for a great cause! Saturday, September 10th in Raleigh NC. More info about the ride is available at www.AllStarRide.org
