RPM UNVEILS CYCLEFEST 2005 AT COPPER MOUNTAIN, AUGUST 19-21, 2005 RPM is pleased to announce CycleFest 2005 at Copper Mountain, the largest motorcycle event to reign over the Rocky Mountain Region. With immense excitement mounting for motorsports throughout the country, motorcycle enthusiasts are preparing to ride up to Colorado for CycleFest, August 19-21, 2005, which will feature Rounds 3 and 4 of the AMA Supermoto Championship. “Of all the Supermoto events, this is by far one of the best organized,” said Suzuki Rider Steve Drew, who will compete in the AMA Supermoto races at CycleFest, “The atmosphere is super cool being at a ski resort. The track feels really good, and everyone that came up last year is coming back again and bringing their friends.” Motorcycle enthusiasts and their families will be able to test out countless models and styles of motorcycles, shop for bike gear, and go on scenic road rides. Fans will witness stunning aerial, trial, and street stunts by the world’s greatest riders. Even kids get to partake in testing out kid tailor-made dirt bikes. CycleFest will also include concerts on both Saturday and Sunday. “The face of motorcycle riding is changing,” said Cameron Gray, RPM’s Vice President and long-time motorcycle aficionado, “and the fan base has grown exponentially in the past 10 years. We are really excited to bring this event back to our own backyard, Copper Mountain.” This will mark the third annual CycleFest. More than 11,000 people flooded Colorado’s CycleFest in 2003 and 18,000 in 2004. Tickets for CycleFest went on sale May 10, 2005.
