Nicky Hayden to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Torrance, California: American Honda is pleased to announce that Honda MotoGP factory racer Nicky Hayden will appear as a guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday, August 2nd. The 23-year-old Hayden, who recently guided his Repsol Honda RC211V works bike to victory in the first motorcycle Grand Prix held in the United States since 1994, began racing Hondas full time in 1999. Leno, who is a motorcycling aficionado and advocate of the sport, has long taken a pro-motorcycling stance in the entertainment community and the media at large. After winning the Superbike championship for American Honda in 2002, Nicky Hayden joined the Honda factory GP team to contest the MotoGP series, which travels the world over. During the USGP held at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California, Hayden set a new lap record and earned the pole position en route to notching his first-and Honda’s first-GP win at the historic circuit. Nicky Hayden, who was also recently named as one of America’s most eligible bachelors by People magazine, is scheduled to be the second guest of the evening on the Tonight Show, following actress Kate Hudson. Joining Nicky will be his two brothers, Tommy and Roger Lee Hayden, who are also professional motorcycle racers here in the United States.
