AMA Race Schedule Revised To Beat Weather At Road America

AMA Pro Racing has revised its schedule at Road America in hopes of beating approaching severe weather, which is forecast to arrive in the Wisconsin area Sunday afternoon. The changes include a compressed morning practice schedule, shorting the gaps in between activities and moving the AMA Superbike race from 4:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time. All AMA races are scheduled to run their full distance. Sunday morning practice for sidecars has been shortened and termed “tentative,” and the Sidecar race has been shortened and moved to the end of the day. The time allotted for fan parade laps of the track has been shortened from one hour to approximately 30 minutes. A 30-minute stunt show has been removed from Sunday’s schedule.
