Michelin testing at California Speedway in Fontana, California is underway, with Eric Bostrom (Ducati 999), Steve Rapp (Suzuki GSX-R600) and Vincent Haskovec (Suzuki GSX-R1000) working through test tires while almost two dozen other AMA riders gain valuable track time.

Michelin has opened its test dates up to a range of riders, including AMA privateers who use Michelin tires and Team Hammer Talent Search participants at no charge as well as to riders and teams on other brands on a shared-cost basis.

Since there is no promoter practice scheduled on the Thursday prior to the April 2-4 AMA National at Fontana, the track time provided by Michelin may be more valuable than usual to the non-factory riders.
