California Superbike School and Edelweiss Bike Travel Team Up to Provide Motorcyclists the Ultimate Riding Experience on Five Continents

LOS ANGELES, California — The art of motorcycle touring and the art of motorcycle cornering have come together with a special promotion co-sponsored by the California Superbike School and Edelweiss Bike Travel.

Announced by CSS founder Keith Code and Edelweiss founder Werner Wachter, students who receive instruction at Code’s US, UK, and Australian schools will now automatically receive free lodging while on any Edelweiss group motorcycle tour. Cyclists who have registered for or taken part in Edelweiss tours will receive free gear rental while attending Superbike classes.

“On the road or the track, a corner is a corner, and riders need their cornering skills to fully enjoy their experience, especially on unfamiliar roads in foreign countries,” says Code. “The California Superbike School will be providing tour participants with those skills through our track training.”

Over the past 23 years, more than 100,000 riders have improved their cornering skills and confidence by attending classes offered at Code’s
California Superbike School.

“It looks like we do something totally different, but there are really quite a few similarities to our passions,” said Wachter, who founded Edelweiss in 1980 – the same year Code began his school. “We don’t sell parts – we provide experiences.”

Edelweiss Bike Travel has become famous with motorcycle enthusiasts around the world for their scenic 7-14 day group tours over select routes in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and Australia. The tours take riders through some of the world’s most scenic areas including the Swiss Alps, the Grand Canyon, and French Riviera.

“The schools bring up the skills of riding while our tours provide the ideal riding routes to employ them. Both lead to satisfaction for any rider,” said Wachter.

The firms’ founders said their promotional partnership followed their realization that both were number one in their fields worldwide, and both were dedicated to the improvement of the riding experience.
