HAS/SHOGUN RACING TEAM TO MISS AMA BRAINERD ROUND

The HAS/Shogun Racing Team will miss round seven of the AMA Chevy Trucks U.S. Superbike Championship at Brainerd International Raceway, June 27-29. Rider John Haner joined his teammate Heath Small on the disabled list after Haner had surgery to correct carpal tunnel syndrome in his right wrist on June 13th. The surgery was successful and John is going to therapy regularly to re-build strength in his hand and wrist. He expects to be fully healed in time for round eight of the series at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

Heath Small continues to heal following surgery on Wednesday, June 4th to repair tendon damage to his left hand after falling in the 600 Supersport race at Pikes Peak Raceway on Sunday, June 1st. Heath is attending therapy daily and expects to be back racing at the Virginia International Raceway round, possibly earlier. Heath will join John and the rest of the HAS/Shogun Racing Team at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for the combined AMA/World Superbike event, July 10th through 13th.
