Rich Oliver’s crash in practice may have been a factor in the result, but Corbin Yamaha’s Jimmy Filice finally took the hard-fought win over Oliver that he came out of retirement for.

Michael Hannas looked very strong until the 21-year-old Californian crashed out of the four-way battle for the lead early-on, in turn seven. Hannas picked his PJ1-sponsored Yamaha up and charged from seventh to fifth by the end of the race.
