CONSUMER ELECTRONICS SHOW, LAS VEGAS – Alpinestars will be showcasing over 55 years of leading product innovation in motorcycling and motorsports protection technology, including the new range of Tech-Air® compatible clothing.

The Alpinestars booth, located in the Tech West, Sands Expo Hall D, Level 2, Booth 45028 (Sports Technology), will feature an interactive Tech-Air® experience zone, allowing visitors to try our cutting edge Tech-Air® motorcycle airbag technology for themselves. The Consumer Electronics Show takes place from January 8 to January 11.

Tech-Air® is the world’s first completely electronic, self-contained upper body motorcycle airbag system. Using a sophisticated algorithm to detect crashes with accuracy and speed, Tech-Air® functions without the need for external sensors or bike-to-rider set-up configurations, including GPS, and can be used with any make or model of motorbike.

Should the system detect a crash, it will deploy a protective airbag, providing unrivalled protection to the rider’s full back, shoulders, kidney area and chest.

The system is smart too: extensive research and testing on the road and track have allowed Alpinestars to refine the triggering algorithms, allowing the system to accurately assess when to deploy ahead of an impact.

Tech-Air® compatible products from our current Touring, Contemporary, Sport, Race and Women’s lines will be available to test throughout the show, enabling visitors to sample an airbag deployment firsthand.
