FEATURED IN THE JANUARY 2019 ISSUE OF ROADRACING WORLD…
“It’s different being at top speed on a naked bike with tubular handlebars. I actively pressed into the tank, searching for the pocket of semi-still air created by shoving the forks and headlight through the atmosphere at triple digits. With hands at ear level, the turbulence makes the bike dance around at speed a bit more than a fully faired motorcycle.

And there is actually a bit of serenity to be found by sliding back on the seat and scrunching down as much as possible. It game me a chance to think abut the experience of riding the machine on the track, to note what it does well and what could be improved.
“Initial impression: There’s nothing wrong with the engine. The speedometer read 140 mph at the end of the front straight, and that’s good for a naked bike in fully street legal form, with turn signals and mirrors …”
-Michael Gougis, on-track with the CB1000R, in the January 2019 Issue of Roadracing World
