Daytona, FL March 16, 2012 – In dominating fashion, Cameron Beaubier won the 72nd running of the Daytona 200 aboard his #6 Yamaha Extended Service/Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha YZF-R6. Meanwhile, Garrett Gerloff, who is Cameron’s teammate in the AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class, finished in a strong second place. The top-five finishers in the Daytona 200 were all Yamaha R6-mounted, and they lapped the rest of the field in a remarkable show of strength for the Yamaha brand.
