American Honda Offering Road Race Contingency On Six Different Models In 2013

American Honda’s Red Rider Rewards program is offering road racing contingency prizes on six different models of motorcycles in 2013. Models eligible for the contingency program in 2013 include: Honda’s CBR1000RR (2013-2012 models), CBR600RR (2013-2012 models), CBR500R (2013 models), CBR250R (2013-2012 models), NSF250 (2012 models) and the Honda-powered Moriwaki MD250H (2009 models). The contingency will be available at selected events held by the following sanctioning bodies: AFM, AMA Pro Road Racing, ASRA/Michelin Pro Series, CCS, CRA, M1GP, Master of the Mountains/UtahSBA, Moto Series, MRA, OMRRA, USGPRU, WMRRA, WERA National Challenge Series, WERA Sportsman Southeast Region, and WERA Sportsman West Region. Payouts are available in “all” 250cc, 500cc, 600cc and 1000cc four-stroke classes with most of these racing organizations, according to Honda. Contingency is available in AMA Pro Road Racing’s Superbike, Daytona SportBike and SuperSport classes. Contingency is available in USGPRU’s 250cc GP and Moto3 classes. Payouts at most events are $750 for a first-place finish, $500 for a second-place finish and $400 for a third-place finish. Payouts at AMA Pro Road Races are $2000 for a first-place finish, $1000 for a second-place finish and $500 for a third-place finish.
