SUZUKI’S MILLIONTH EDITION GSX-R1000 Suzuki has unveiled a commemorative GSX-R1000 to celebrate the one millionth GSX-R to roll off the production line at the Toyokawa Plant in Japan; and this video takes you back through the years from its conception. When it was introduced in 1985, the Suzuki GSX-R750 redefined the definition of a sports bike and took the market by storm. It delivered new levels of performance and agility and quickly dominated both the roads and racetracks of the world. And with its evolution into 600cc, 1000cc and 1100cc versions, Suzuki remained true to the GSX-R’s original concept by continuing production of a 750cc model. The 2013 “Millionth Edition” Commemorative GSX-R1000 features a special paint scheme, unique black Brembo Monoblock callipers with gold lettering, wheel stripes, gold forks, a celebratory tank graphic, numbered top yoke, red fork tops, a special key ring; and a distinctive red-coloured nose cone. Underneath, it still remains the same multi-championship-winning race bike and much-loved road-going machine as it’s always been.
