According to AMA Racing Superbike Series Manager Morgan Broadhead, he decided to cancel the 600cc Supersport race at Mid-Ohio because “More riders I talked to didn’t want to run than wanted to run.” Roadracingworld.com wandered down pit lane at VIR today and asked riders who were entered in the 600cc Supersport race at Mid-Ohio, were they in favor of starting the race at Mid-Ohio, and were they asked their opinion by Broadhead or any other AMA official. The results of the non-scientific, informal survey follow. (Note: Giving Broadhead the benefit of the doubt, we accepted his word that he talked to Tommy Hayden, Roger Hayden and Jamie Hacking and that they were opposed to starting the race.)
