Aaron Gobert To Be Represented By Hardcard Holdings

November 16, 2007 (Pebble Beach, CA)- Hardcard Holdings, LLC, announced today that 2004 AMA Superstock Champion Aaron Gobert has signed an agreement with Hardcard for management representation, beginning with the 2008 season, as part of a growing list of motorsports related services the company provides. “The Hardcard team is really respectful of what I want to accomplish with my racing career and really understand the rider perspective,” says Gobert. “It became clear to me that they were a good organization to associate with and I’m excited to begin working with them on finalizing my 2008 plans and mapping out a course for the future.” Hardcard had recently announced their athlete representation business with the addition of Athlete Manager Michael (Murph) Murphy and now offers an expanding list of services for racers. “I’ve known Aaron for some time and he came to me after hearing about us working with Ben Thompson,” says Murph. “When we started talking through what his needs were and how Hardcard approaches the business side of racing, he identified some areas where we could assist him which led to him wanting to work with us.” About Aaron Gobert Born in 1980 in Sydney, Australia, Aaron Gobert achieved early success racing Junior Supercross and Motocross, winning multiple Australian national championships. At 16 he turned pro and won the first professional Supercross race he entered, launching his professional career. In 1998 he switched to roadracing and in 2000 he captured the National 250 Production Class Championship the series that’s turned out champions like Troy Corser and Mat Mladin. For 2001, Aaron moved to the U.S. for a ride with Graves Yamaha, the factory Yamaha satellite team. Between 2001 and 2005 he rode for both Factory Yamaha and Graves Yamaha, racking up multiple race wins and a 2004 AMA Superstock Championship along with a 3rd place in the AMA Supersport class that same year. In 2006 Aaron signed with factory Honda satellite team, Erion Honda, where he would compete in the Superstock, Formula Xtreme and Supersport classes scoring multiple race wins in the 2006 and 2007 seasons.
