FIRST PERSON/OPINION Via e-mail: The AFM held its 2010 Season Awards banquet on Saturday, January 15th with over 240 people in attendance. Terry Newby from Sport Tire Services was present and was given the opportunity to speak. He thanked the club, the racers, and all of the friends he has made over an era spanning over two decades of selling Dunlop tires at AFM events. He was given a long, heartfelt standing ovation from everyone in the room for all he has done for the racers, fellow vendors, and the club in general. Terry and his family will be missed in the AFM paddock this season. I wish Terry and (business partner) Dennis (Smith) the very best success in their future endeavors.
