AFM Announcer Goes National Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway recently announced that longtime AFM announcer John Fosgate will once again be joining Brian Drebber as the event co-announcer for the upcoming Corona AMA Superbike Championship weekend on September 15-16. “I’m pleased and excited to be a part of the 2007 AMA event at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway,” said Fosgate. “It’s long been known that the AMA offers some of the greatest competition in the world, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. Brian Drebber is a lot of fun to work with, and I’m sure we’ll have a great time and see some great racing.” Known by many as “the voice of the AFM,” Fosgate has been calling the shots at AFM events for almost two decades. His involvement with motorcycles extends well beyond the announcer’s booth, with experience as a riding instructor at Zoom Zoom Trackdays, a position on the AFM Board of Directors, and years of experience as an AFM New Racer School instructor. Fosgate also started the 2007 season racing a Yamaha TZ250, and was ranked as high as fifth in the Formula 2 class. For more information, Fosgate can be contacted through the website of his production company, N3 Productions, at http://www.n3-productions.com/
