Honda dealers were told last night that the “2008 Dream Team” consists of Miguel Duhamel and Neil Hodgson riding American Honda CBR1000RRs in AMA Superbike, but the night at American Honda’s annual dealer convention (held this year in Anaheim, California), included no dream Superbike ride announcement for two-time AMA Formula Xtreme Champion Hayes. That’s the word from Hayes’ long-time friend, agent and former employer, Gina Nadeau, who told RoadracingWorld.com via phone that Hayes is extremely disappointed that he didn’t get a shot on a factory Honda Superbike for 2008. “We’re not signed with anyone and I’ve just started talking with Erion,” Nadeau said. “Josh is just…so disappointed (that he didn’t get a Superbike ride), and we have been talking with another team, with blue bikes.”
