AHRMA Membership Director and Road Race Director Cindy Cowell died earlier today, according to a post on the Facebook page of AHRMA. 

AHRMA just held a road race event this past weekend, August 31-September 2 at Utah Motorsports Campus, in Grantsville, Utah. According to AHRMA Communications Director Matt Hilgenberg, Cowell was driving with her husband Andrew from Utah to Alabama when she died.

AHRMA has a road race event scheduled this coming weekend, September 8-9, at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway, including one of AHRMA’s Fast & Safe Roadracing School on September 7, and that event will go on as scheduled.
