VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE ENTHUSIASTS FLOCKED TO AHRMA CLASSIC MOTOFEST® IN THE HEARTLAND
(TOPEKA, KS, June 15, 2021) – Old motorcycles brought new sights and sounds to Heartland Motorsports Park in Topeka, KS during the Memorial Day weekend, May 28-30.
The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) Classic MotoFest® in the Heartland featured more than 1,350 vintage motorcycle entries for road racing, motocross, observed trials and cross-country competitions and more than 50 entries for the highly anticipated Bike Show.
Additionally, hundreds of spectators attended the Classic Drags, sponsored by Luke’s Racecraft.
Other highlights of the AHRMA Classic MotoFest® in the Heartland included a swap meet that stretched out longer than a football field and a myriad of family activities and entertainment that engaged the crowds throughout the weekend.
“In addition to all the local residents that came out for the fun, we saw visitors from all over Kansas and Missouri as well as from across the country,” said AHRMA Executive Director, Curtis Comer. “We are thankful to Visit Topeka and our other regional partners that supported us in creating a great family-friendly motorsport event here in the heartland. We can’t wait to build on this year’s success.”
Plans are already in the works for more MotoFest events, including the AHRMA Classic MotoFest of Monterey July 16-18 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Follow AHRMA on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter or visit their website, AHRMA.org to keep up with future announcements about schedule of events, entries and ticket sales.
