AHRMA’s 3rd and 4th rounds of the 2020 racing season were held at Roebling Road Raceway in Bloomingdale, Georgia this past weekend, February 22-23.  The 2nd annual Vintage Cup, sponsored by NYC Norton (nycnorton.com) and Roadracing World (roadracingworld.com) is seeing more exciting racing as each round passes.  The lineup this past weekend included Trustee Brian Larrabure, fresh off his win at Laguna Seca, Tim Joyce, on Maurice Candy’s Manx which he took two wins on at the Island Classic at Phillip Island in 2018, Jason Roberts, Jamie Waters, and Dick Miles.

On Saturday, Larrabure won handily with Joyce suffering a mechanical DNF, followed by Waters and Roberts.

On Sunday, the tables were turned.  While Joyce took an early lead, he fell back unable to come out of third gear with Larrabure pulling ahead.  Larrabure was unable to hold the lead suffering a mechanical causing him to pull out of the race on the seventh lap.  Joyce was able to nurse the bike across the finish line in third gear taking the checkered flag for the win, with Waters in 2nd.
