Further information on Alex Gobert’s Road Race Performance Academy has been revealed since the all-new sportsbike riding development program was launched last week, with an informative website now online at www.rrpa.com.au to give riders an in-depth look at the RRPA program. Featuring loads of information to give RRPA participants crucial knowledge they need before signing up for an event, the RRPA website features details on the riding development program including upcoming dates in the calendar, entry forms, news, coach profiles, a photo gallery and links featuring the academy’s proud industry partners. Vital information is available for inexperienced riders to learn what they need for the school, while there is also plenty of information on the program structure, prizes and rules. Visitors will also be able to find info on Gobert’s career as a racer and freelance journalist, providing national and international media outlets the opportunity to find contact information and details on the 24-year-old’s increasing experience as a moto-journalist in both motorcycle testing and news. Developed to help sportsbike riders around Australia advance, with separate sessions accommodating all abilities of riders including track day first-timers and aspiring racers, Gobert’s RRPA is set to hold its inaugural event at Wakefield Park, near Goulburn, New South Wales, on 10 September. A perfect circuit for coaching with its technical 2.2 kilometre course, Wakefield Park has witnessed many top Australian riders learn their race craft at the venue in the past with the likes of MotoGP stars Chris Vermeulen and Anthony West, along with World Supersport riders Josh Brookes and Broc Parkes, competing at the track earlier in their careers. The RRPA coaches will assist in rider development for the first time ever as the school hosts its opening event “” with one per month scheduled at circuits to be confirmed for the remainder of 2008 and a full calendar set for 2009. Be quick to get your entries in via the details on the website, with only a limited number of riders invited to each event and all riders welcome regardless of their riding experience. Stay tuned for an announcement on who the first Guest Coach of the program at Wakefield Park will be, with factory racers and industry insiders scheduled to come along to each RRPA program throughout the calendar. ALEX GOBERT: “It’s great to be able to release the official RRPA website and I’m extremely pleased with the design by Garry Morrow from Fullnoise.com.au. The RRPA site has massive amounts of info for participants to check out and it is a real asset to the program. “Holding our first event at Wakefield Park brings back great memories for me as that is where I had my first road race meeting when I was 14, so it is only fitting that the inaugural RRPA event is held at the same venue. I can’t wait to get the ball rolling and begin helping riders realise their potential as more efficient and safer riders. “With prize packs for participants on arrival and extra prizes from our sponsors awarded to selected riders after each event, I’m positive that all riders will go home happy following their RRPA experience.”
