Alex Lyskawa/Connor Lafrance Memorial Enduro Race Scheduled For May 7 In New York

Oakland Valley Race Park Cuddebackville, NY Alex Lyskawa and Connor Lafrance Memorial 4 hour Enduro Race at OVRP Race Park The second of five F150 Enduro Races promoted by PJ Jacobsen, Bob Weiss, and OVRP Race Park, will be on May 7, 2011, at OVRP. This race is special in that it is in memory of two motorcycle racers who were lost to racing accidents, Alex Lyskawa and Connor Lafrance. PJ said, “We cannot forget where we came from and who we grew up with. Alex and Connor where my boy hood friends, we grew up together racing scooters. To lose both of them in accidents was tragic. I just want them to be remembered.” PJ and Bob have reached out to everyone in the racing community to come enjoy a day of racing in memory of two friends who also loved racing. The event is open to all riders and teams of up to four members. There will be five rounds, stock and mod, on 150cc four stroke motorcycles for four hours. This next round will be broadcast LIVE! by JonesCAM Helmet Cameras and shown on IHIGH.com. Jacobsen and Weiss have produced this five race series with OVRP owner Tim Hannen to help keep the race community strong in the Upstate / Hudson Valley area of New York. It is just 75 miles north of New York City, in western Orange County. Other dates in the series are: May 7th, June18th, September 18th, and October 30th.
