Rome (Italy), Monday 20th December 2010: The Althea Racing Team is in the processing of defining its plans for the 2011 Italian championship, coming to an agreement earlier this week with Italian rider Luca Conforti, who will ride the Ducati 1198 in the Superbike category. 35-year old Luca, from Brescia, has been one of the protagonists in the Italian CIV championship in recent years and is ready, under the guidance of Genesio Bevilacqua, to undertake this new challenge as part of the Althea Racing squad. “I’m really excited”, said Luca Conforti earlier this morning. “I am really happy to be able to continue to race with Ducati because I’ve always got on well with the Borgo Panigale bikes. Genesio’s team is a point of reference and this year’s results, in both the national and world Superbike championships, are a good demonstration of this.
